AFTERCARE

Remove bandage after no less than 2 hours (do not re-bandage). Sometimes leaving your bandage on over night is not a bad idea.

Wash tattoo with your hand (make sure hand is clean) using warm, soapy water. Rinse with Hot water. Don't over soak your tattoo. Pat dry, DO NOT rub with towel.

There are a number of things that are acceptable to treat your tattoo with during it's healing process. Some of these include Bacitracin (Triple Antibiotic Ointment), A and D Ointment, Bag Balm or Unscented Lubriderm Lotion.

If you have a known allergy to one of these products DO NOT USE IT.

DO NOT USE NEOSPORIN OR NOXZEMA

Your tattoo may allow some excess ink to surface over the first day or two. Do not let this alarm you. If you see ink surfacing, wash it away gently with warm soapy water.

Tattoo will flake somewhat like a sunburn. DO NOT pick at the flakes or you may pull the color out. Try not to let clothing rub on your tattoo while it is healing.

The healing process can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks.

NO swimming or suntanning until healed. Apply a high SPF sunblock to tattoo AFTER IT IS HEALED to prevent fading.
